I am a long time Type 2 diabetic. I recently to this location after many years as I was not insured and was looking to minimize costs for medical treatment. I happen to obtain health insurance while waiting for my first appointment but kept the appointment. When I went in for my first appointment, I had bronchitis and received medication to treat that. I also requested to refill all my existing prescriptions. Well, for reason the nude practitioner declined to refill my daily migraine medicine that I have be out of for several months due to being uninsured and needing a provider to write a new script. A few weeks later I called in for UTI symptoms. I was advised I would have to be seen in person. This end up taking several days due to my work schedule. Mind you, I have been diabetic since 2004, and in relation to that I have had many Autos and know what they are. So I finally was seen and had the infection confirmed and was provided a script. 🙄 Now, I woke up Wednesday overnight with very obvious UTI symptoms. I called to get a prescription called in, since I am an established patient and there is no doubt that I know when I have an UTI. Again I am told that the NP is requiring an i

My wife had an urgent appointment for this Friday, and we just got a call to reschedule for over a month from now. The staff that called even had the nerve to laugh at scheduling difficulties.

Communication between staff is poor. The lab where they draw blood is dirty. Entryway smells overwhelmingly of cleaning chemicals or some sort of air freshener. Staff seems checked out. I wanted to establish care as a new patient and they matched me with a provider whose last day was that week.

This office has been helpful, inexpensive, and while there is a wait to be seen even if you have an appointment the staff is absolutely wonderful. This is a great location to receive medical care, Dr. Melinda Brooks has been amazing and I hope people take the negative reviews with a huge grain of salt. These are medical professionals, they are absolutely qualified, and their service is greatly appreciated by me and I will be coming back.

I am extremely aggravated with the patient service I have been receiving. My initial problem occured when I had scheduled my first appointment. No one had informed me that my doctor had went to another location to fill in for another doctor that day. So when I got to the Bermuda Medical Center, they told me that the doctor was at another facility and that I had to drive to another facility for my scheduled appoinment. I had let that problem go and decided to move on. A few weeks later I got a call from Edwin at Bermuda Medical Center, who left a voicemail regarding my lab work. I called back at the number provided about eleven times throughout the day and I got no answer. When I tried to leave a message, it said that the mailbox was full. I was extremely aggravated that I was unable to reach the office and discuss my information over the phone. I ended up driving to the office and a nurse was able to see me and discuss my results. Nevertheless, it is the principle that I should not have to drive to my doctors office just to speak with a patient representative, especially when they had left me a message saying to call them back.
